The Supreme Court, on August 18, 2020, issued notice to the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) in a plea seeking adoption of CBSE’s re-assessment option for failed 9th and 11th students. On May 13th, 2020 CBSE decided that all failed students of 9th and 11th will be provided with the opportunity to reappear in the school-based test.
