Petition filed in SC seeking removal of Andhra Pradesh CM Jaganmohan Reddy for making scandalizing remark against sitting judge.

A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court (SC) which seeks the removal of Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Jaganmohan Reddy for making allegations against a sitting judge of the Apex Court, Justice NV Ramana. The petition is filed by two advocates GS Mani and Pradeep Kumar Yadav which also sought for the issuance of writ petition in the nature of Quo Warranto against Reddy, declaring that has no authority to hold the office of Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh as he is misusing his power as Chief Minister. The petition also states that “Reddy does not possess the right to misuse his constitutional post for scandalizing the judicial system in this manner by sending a communication to the Chief Justice of India”.
